Treatment Specialties:

I was born and raised in Germany and moved to Greensboro in 2004, which has been my home ever since. Psychology and the human mind have been of interest to me from a young age. Growing up in a multicultural household, as well as life experience makes it easy for me to relate to individuals and families from all walks of life. Even though I have experience in treating a vast variety of issues, I specialize in addictions, eating disorders, and crisis intervention. My goal is to assist clients in enhancing their ability to cope with stressors, increase self-awareness, and enhance resiliency. Therapy can help uncover the underlying causes of worries and fears, learn how to relax, look at situations in a new, less frightening way, and develop better coping mechanisms and problem-solving skills to elicit behavioral change. It is important to me to consider each client’s uniqueness and challenges. Therefore, I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral and Solution-Focused Therapy, to fit my client’s needs. I believe in transparency and honesty on both sides to make the therapeutic relationship effective. I offer a judgment-free environment creating a safe space for clients to work through life’s challenges. The goal is to assist clients in recognizing their strengths and abilities throughout their journey to healing, restoration, and recovery.
