Marissa Wilson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate with a passion for supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of North Carolina Greensboro and went on to complete her Master of Social Work from the Joint Master’s Program through the University of North Carolina at and NC A&T, with a focus on multicultural clinical practice and Child Welfare. Marissa has extensive experience working with children, families, and the elderly, including her time as a Child Welfare and Medical Social Worker. Known for her warm and inviting approach, she recognizes the importance of creating a safe space for people to feel heard, understood and supported. Marissa believes that a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship is the foundation for empowering people to realize their full potential and create meaningful changes in their lives.
