Sheila is a Massachusetts native, spending 60 years there before relocating to North Carolina in 2017. She has over 40 years of experience in customer service where she spent 30 of those years working at Blue Cross Blue Shield. For more than 20 years, Sheila served as Blue Cross Blue Shield Director of Call Centers, helping to support providers and policy holders alike. When Sheila relocated to North Carolina, she worked at an allergist’s office in New Bern for 2 and a half years as their office manager. She managed the front desk and practice until it closed due to the doctor retiring. 

Sheila is too industrious to take the classic route to retirement. She enjoys working at Tree of Life Counseling because it allows for her to utilize her years of costumer service experience to assist patients and co-workers. When she’s not dutifully manning the first desk, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and granddaughter back in Massachusetts. While she’s home, she spends her days hanging out with her furry compadre, Shamus.
