Treatment Philosophies:
Are you a parent or parent-to-be who feels like this is not what you thought it would be, and that there has to be a way to feel better? Whether dealing with depression, anxiety, issues related to pregnancy or parenting, self-esteem or relationship issues, Melissa specializes in helping with unique issues of women. She recognizes and respects that every woman’s journey is unique and looks forward to working with and supporting patients during these important times in life.

Treatment Specialties:
Melissa has training and experience dealing with perinatal depression and/or anxiety, parenting stress, parenting a child with special needs, relationship issues caused by pregnancy, parenting, miscarriage, abortion, feelings around abortion, traumatic birth experiences, rainbow babies, infertility, and grief and loss relating to pregnancy or children. As a maternal mental health specialist, Melissa is uniquely attuned to the challenges of parenting, pregnancy and fertility- including grief and loss as they relate to pregnancy and/or fertility. She uses her extensive training to be able to offer help and comfort; and, as a mom of 3, she has personal experience as well.
