Treatment Philosophies:
I have always sought to be an advocate for those that may not be heard throughout our society or have been silenced. In the past I have supported individuals in poverty with housing insecurities and ensured they had access to necessities and been able to cope through the stress associated with natural disasters. To then supporting individuals who began their journey to transition and live their truth as a part of the LGBTQIA+ community. I am a firm ally and fierce supporter of equality and have a passion for helping my clients in their journeys to be their authentic selves.
My approach to therapy is simple, you are the focal point of the experience. I will do what is necessary for your goals and needs to be met. I utilize a person centered and strengths based approach meaning I want to learn from you and use what makes you, you in order to solve those problems. To tackle the anxiety, depression, or the relationship issues that have become debilitating. I understand that everyone’s story is unique and the importance of human connection in life. If you would allow me, I would love to support you through this hard time as a team and help you become a happier and healthier you.
