Erin Cooley-Gross, MS, LCMHC, NCC

Child-Adult Trauma Specialist

Treatment Philosophies:
Serving children and families has always been Erin’s passion. As a preschool teacher, Erin recognized that many families have a great need for intervention and support. Her experiences there directed her to the field of mental health counseling, following her true passion to work with and support children. She believes in the strength of the relationship between parent and child and their natural ability to self-regulate and achieve success. Erin aims to guide parents and children to communicate effectively, understand their own internal motivations, and strive for stronger relationships.

Treatment Specialties:
Erin recognizes the impact that trauma has on individuals and their families. She can help guide them through the healing process and learn to make new meaning from these experiences. Erin’s counseling style is one of inclusion, openness, and unconditional positive regard. She also enjoys bringing play into sessions because she believes that laughter can be as healing as tears.
