Tunde A. Adenola was born in Nigeria, where he earned a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Lagos. Tunde worked as a Civil Engineer in Nigeria until he immigrated to the United States in 2000 with his wife and children. Tunde attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he earned a BA in Psychology in 2009.
In 2013, Tunde received his Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling at North Carolina A&T State University. Tunde is a State of North Carolina Licensed Professional Counselor. He has worked as a residential counselor, rehabilitation counselor, in home team leader, and as a community support service team leader.
Tunde specializes with relationships, overcoming traumas, and supporting individuals with difficulties related to depressive disorders and emotional balance. He uses his training and personal life experiences to help each of his clients grow and receive the most benefits available through their time in counseling. Tunde supports clients of all identities, including age, gender, culture, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, spirituality and socioeconomic status.
He uses alternating therapeutic approaches and the Gottman approach when he works with couples and families. This allows him to be more flexible in his approach and use the most effective methods available to address the client’s individual needs.
