Lydia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in treating Sex and Relationships. Lydia graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work as President of the Social Work Student Organization at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro – Greensboro, NC. She received her Master of Social Work as a Phi Alpha National Member at the University of North Carolina A&T/UNCG Joint Program – Greensboro, NC.

Lydia has specialized training using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) informed treatment model and family systems therapy, primarily working with individuals and couples. Her areas of specialization include the treatment of mood and personality disorders, addiction, desire and intimacy issues, family conflict, couples and marriage counseling.

Lydia practices a variety of acceptance and mindfulness practices that are evidence based treatment modalities tailored to meet your individual needs. These types of modalities include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Psychodynamic, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. While Lydia utilizes specialized approaches, she is also cognizant of the individual needs of her clients, and includes integrative methods including Solution Focused methods, Psycho-education, and behavioral techniques.
