How do I know which therapist is right for me?
Our staff is very well trained and has over 50 years of combined experienced in the fields of mental health and education. If you have specific needs it is important for you to share your concerns in the initial conversation. Learn more about Our Team.
What insurance plans do you take?
We take BCBS, Aetna, United Behavioral Health, Medcost, ValueOptions, Tricare and a variety of other different insurance plans. However it is your responsibility to check with your insurance company to make sure that we are in-network.
Do you file with Medicare?
Yes, some of our therapists accept clients with Medicare.
Do you file with Medicaid?
No. Our therapists are no longer accepting clients with Medicaid or NC Health Choice.
Can you prescribe medication?
No. We cannot prescribe medication, but we are well versed with the psychiatrists and doctors in town who can do that. We are happy to refer you to a doctor if you do not have one.
What forms of payment can I use?
We take cash, checks and credit cards. We accept MasterCard, Visa, and Discover. You may also pay with your Health Savings Cards.
How long is an appointment?
An initial assessment can last anywhere from 50 minutes to 90 minutes. However, regular sessions last 45 minutes.

Are you accepting applicants for internships or practicum positions?
No. We are not accepting any interns or practicum students at this time. We currently don’t have the staff or the clients to help fulfill the requirements needed for an internship or practicum.
